Student learning occurs in many ways both inside and outside of the classroom and听school. Since the start of the COVID-19听pandemic, students have participated in virtual听learning experiences facilitated by educational partners. Approved presentations will听contribute to important topics from a community perspective and centres the lived听experiences of individuals on issues of identity, discrimination and histories. Resources听from other levels of government, such as the City of Toronto, will be also be used听where appropriate. External presentations must be grounded in classroom teaching on听the topics addressed to ensure that students have multiple opportunities to develop a听complex understanding of the issues and topics raised.
