Secondary Schools without a Boundary Priority Technology Seats
Applicants who have been placed in a Priority Technology seat will receive an email from PowerSchool just prior to receiving the results link. You are being notified that your child has been offered a Tech seat at their requested Secondary School without a Boundary. In accepting the seat, your child is committing to taking one technology course each year they are attending the Secondary School without a Boundary. Failure to request/take a technology course will result in their return to their designated school by address.
Applicants who applied to an Out-of-Area Option AND a Secondary School without a Boundary Option
- If your child has been offered a seat in one of their requested schools, and you accept it, your child will remain on the waitlist for the other school. Should you wish they be removed from this waitlist, please complete this brief . The form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian/Caregiver who submitted the application.
- If your child has been offered a seat in BOTH of their requested schools, you may only accept one of the offered seats. The other seat will be removed and offered to another student. This choice cannot be reversed once made.
- If your child has not been offered a seat in either of their requested schools, they will remain on the waitlist for both. Should you wish to have them removed from one or both waitlists, please complete this brief . The form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian/Caregiver who submitted the application. Some schools may not have any seats available in a particular grade.
Applicants holding seats in a Central Student Interest Program (CSIP)
If your child is currently holding a seat in a Central Student Interest Program and they are now opting to accept an offer through Secondary Out-of-Area Admissions, please notify us by completing this brief . The form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian/Caregiver who submitted the application. Some ÎÛÎÛÂþ» applicants should also notify their current school of their decision.
If you wish to retain your CSIP seat, you must decline any offer(s) made through Out-of-Area Admissions.
Applicants on waitlists for a Central Student Interest Program (CSIP)
If your child is on a waitlist for a Central Student Interest program and have been offered a seat through Out-of-Area Admissions, they can accept the Out-of-Area admissions seat without it impacting their status on the CSIP waitlist. Should an offer come for the CSIP and you accept that seat, you must release the Out-of-Area Admissions seat by completing this brief . The form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian/Caregiver who submitted the application.
If you wish to retain your Out-of-Area seat, you must decline any future offer (CSIP, IPRC etc.)

I am on the waitlist for a requested school. What happens now?
If spaces become available in schools, applicants will be moved from the waitlist to the vacant seats. If your child is offered a seat, you will receive an email notification, along with an acceptance deadline. You must accept the offer prior to the acceptance deadline listed in the email notification. You can use your results link to see your position on the waitlist change over time.
Please note that some schools had no seats available in some grades, and there may be no motion up the waitlist.
What if I accept an offer now and change my mind?
Applicants may decide to attend their local school, a Special Education Intensive Support Program, or an Intensive French Program. If you accept this seat now and change your mind, please notify your current school or the applying Parent/Guardian/Caregiver can complete this brief before February 26, 2025 so that another student has the opportunity to take the seat.
My child is not a ÎÛÎÛÂþ» student and has accepted an offer through Out-of-Area Admissions. How do I get them registered?
A unique link to a registration package for the Central Student Interest Program will be sent to your email address starting on February 18, 2025. Please complete and submit the registration package and contact the school to arrange an appointment to provide the necessary documentation. Course selections will also be completed at this time. Registrations should be completed before noon on March 7, 2025.
My child is a ÎÛÎÛÂþ» student and has accepted an offer through Out-of-Area Admissions. What happens next?
Students in Grade 8 will have automatic access to the Out-of-Area school through myBlueprint and they will be supported in completing their course selections for next year. If your child is not currently in grade 8, you will receive a notification when they will be able to access the requested school through myBlueprint.
