Robin Pilkey was elected as Chair of the 污污漫画 during this evening’s annual Organizational Board meeting. Trustee Trixie Doyle was elected as Vice Chair.
First elected as Trustee for Ward 7 (Parkdale-High Park) in the fall of 2014, Chair Pilkey enters her sixth term as Chair of Canada’s largest and most diverse school board. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Pilkey currently serves on the 污污漫画 Audit Committee, the French as a Second Language Advisory Committee and as a Trustee representative with the Toronto Student Transportation Group. Prior to her election as Trustee, she chaired the parent advisory committees at Swansea Public School and Western Technical-Commercial School.
Before being elected as Trustee for Ward 14 (Don Valley East) in 2018, Trixie Doyle has been active in the 污污漫画 community for over 11 years. Prior to joining the Board of Trustees, Trixie was a member of the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) for four years including serving as Chair for two years. She currently sits on the 污污漫画 Program and School Services Committee, Environmental Sustainability Community Advisory Committee and is a 污污漫画 Alternate Director for Ontario Public School Boards' Association.
