Robin Pilkey Elected as ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ Chair

Parkdale-High Park Trustee Enters Sixth Term as Chair

Robin Pilkey was elected as Chair of the ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ during this evening’s annual Organizational Board meeting. Trustee Trixie Doyle was elected as Vice Chair.

First elected as Trustee for Ward 7 (Parkdale-High Park) in the fall of 2014, Chair Pilkey enters her sixth term as Chair of Canada’s largest and most diverse school board. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Pilkey currently serves on the ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ Audit Committee, the French as a Second Language Advisory Committee and as a Trustee representative with the Toronto Student Transportation Group. Prior to her election as Trustee, she chaired the parent advisory committees at Swansea Public School and Western Technical-Commercial School.

Before being elected as Trustee for Ward 14 (Don Valley East) in 2018, Trixie Doyle has been active in the ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ community for over 11 years. Prior to joining the Board of Trustees, Trixie was a member of the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) for four years including serving as Chair for two years. She currently sits on the ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ Program and School Services Committee, Environmental Sustainability Community Advisory Committee and is a ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ Alternate Director for Ontario Public School Boards' Association.
