Good Evening Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,
I hope you enjoyed the Family Day long weekend. As you know, Toronto continues to dig out following the weekend snowstorm. ÎÛÎÛÂþ» Facility Services staff, along with our contractors, have been working around the clock to clear the snow at our schools and administrative sites.
While it will vary across the city depending on local conditions, it is possible that sidewalks, parking lots and/or walkways around our schools and sites may be difficult to navigate given the significant amount of snow that fell and the ongoing ÎÛÎÛÂþ» and City of Toronto snow clearing operations. With that in mind, we would suggest giving you and your children some extra time when arriving at school in the morning. School bus delays are also possible as the plowing of local streets continues.
I want to sincerely thank our staff and contractors who have been working throughout the weekend to clear as much snow as possible and ask for your continued patience as the ÎÛÎÛÂþ» and City of Toronto does its best to clear the snow in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Clayton La Touche
Director of Education
